At a floor party in Brandon. You were all gothed up, and had your hair in Robert Smith disarray. It took me quite a few purple jesuses to get up the courage to talk to you. I then spirited you away to my room where we listened to Joy Division.

I remember you being tall and quiet in the SWHAT office, being introduced as the guy Zil was dating that she had been telling people about.

Big guy. Quiet. Army bag. I distinctly remember the grey-green army bag over your shoulder.
