Well, I'm almost comic illiterate. So it's not surprising I missed the reference. I remember seeing a couple of Transmetropolitan covers, but have never picked it up. And going back to the comic illiteracy I don't know Hunter S. Thomson either, at least not strictly by the name.

You could secede from the human race like I did. I have a signed and witnessed paper somewhere saying so. I haven't been "human" for about 14 years, actually. I don't hate all humans, just enough of them that I don't want to get caught being one most of the time.
