Pushing myself off the diving board

I'm turning 30 in November. I'm using that arbitrary milestone as motivation to do some things I haven't done before. One of those things is performing in front of a crowd. So, I'm posting this to keep myself from chickening out. I'm going to perform at the next bards.

I'm planning to sing a song about zombies. I have an mp3 of the music. Does anyone know what I would need to hook my laptop or ipod up to the bards sound system?

depend what they have there. your ipod andd laptop have a sterio headphone jack. their mixer will have:
a) right/left (red/white) RCA in
and/or
b) 1/4 headphone in (the big headphone jack)

they will cost about 6 to 30 dollars each depending where you get them, i usualy buy mine from dollar stores. best to get both just incase.

I hit 40 back in June. When Djinn turned 40 we threw her 28th birthday party. Everyone was confused until we explained that she was 28 in hexadecimal. A few understood at that point and the rest just never got it.
