Pondering.

It occurs to me that if I bring lunch from home once a week, that will nearly pay for me buying an album a week from itunes. Which might make a great 365 (or, I guess, 52) project - if I buy an album a week for the next year and give a short review on it, say. Not that 98% of the people I know would actually be interested in most of what I listen to. I could also review the sandwich or leftovers I bring to work to pay for it.

It's a thought, anyway.

The next question, of course, would be if I could actually find time to listen to a new album every week reliably.

It's Monday now - if I can get myself organized enough to bring something from home for lunch this week, I will start this week.

1. That sounds like a fun project! I like the idea of reviewing the album AND the lunch.

2. That also sounds like a great "real life" type math/budgeting lesson one could use to teach children. Too bad* you're not a math teacher.

*Well, too bad for the kids. I'm sure you're quite happy you're not a math teacher, as is indicated by the fact that you didn't choose to become a math teacher.

I suspect your homemade lunch will also be tastier, non?

I love being exposed to and hearing all sorts of new music, so I'd love to read a weekly review of yours. My musical tastes are very eclectic, and it'd be nice to have a little more exposure to goth music and perhaps figuring out what I do and don't like in that genre. I occasionally hear stuff playing in Hot Topic I like, but never seen to have much luck with finding out what it is to explore more. Strangely enough, each time I've asked a HT sales person
"What band is this," I've always gotten "Ummmmm, I'm not sure. It might be *insert the names of two or three bands here.*" Not so helpful in that arena.

Just FYI, there are leftovers from last night's dinner in the fridge, so you could take that for lunch tomorrow!

Hey, I always appreciate hearing about good music (and the not so good). Go for it!
