So, the reviews of the new Betancourt Amber novel are starting to trickle in. the consensus thus far seems to be "bad" and "lame"

I'm going to try to grab it while I'm out tonight, because I am a masochist.

This concerns the novels the game is based on, not the game itself. So, if we're comparing novels, and quality of writing, the original Amber novels outrank any D&D novel, and even any comic book.

I was just reading alt.books.r-z, after the repost there of Kindred's review. Some people getting their knickers in a twist at the AML. One chick says the AML is elitist, on the grounds of having lurked there for a while. ::snort:: I *know* half the regular posters personally.

Oh well.
