Starship troopers may be the worst movie evar. This is coming from a person who watched an entire Lou Ferrigno Hercules movie.

You have a problem with Starship Troopers? You must be kidding me ... that's one of my favourite movies.

You do realize that it's not meant to be taken seriously ...

I have to agree. I read the book years ago when still in grade school in fact. It's one of the few Heinline books that I can stomach, I'm trying to read The Number of the Beast right now it's putrid the man has an understanding of women somewhat akin to a nymphomaniac swinger who can't masterbate enough. Any how, the book I like because really it's more a reflection of his experiences in the war then anything else but the movie, it completly misses the fact that he was actually SERIOUS about what he was saying his neo-facist ideals. On top of that it leaves out the entire MOBILE aspect of the MI their drop suits. Plus Dugey Houser Space Nazi just makes me laugh. I heard they are working on a sequel even. /shudder/ oh well the only thing this space teen t and a movie has going for it is some sexy women who all look (in build) like my ex-wife.

Oh ... that tends to happen, doesn't it?

I try to avoid seeing many movies where I've already read the book. Things rarely live up to expectations.
