Home safe now. I had a 4 hour commute home.

One of my co-workers is leaving this week, so we went out to a farewell lunch for her that ended up taking three hours. The drive back to the office was pretty rough, so after about 15 minutes, the call was made, and we all left.

I was on the road from 2:40 to 6:40, roughly. I ran out of energy at the first hour, but fortuitously, there was half a bottle of barq's in the car from the weekend, which woke me up enough to make it the rest of the way. On the bright side, I'm now much better at driving in snow.

Now I am very, very tired, and am going to go open a bottle of wine.

It's good to hear another victim of the storm got home safe.

Sorry I had to go so quick. My little guy only gets around 2 hours with Daddy before bedtime, and I like to make sure I get him ready for bed and read him a story each night.
