Art

The internet is wonderful - it allows artists to create wonderful things and put them where others can enjoy them.

Some days, though, I find it a touch depressing how much more talented other people are when compared to, say, me.

Case in point;

Faux retro novelization of movie covers
and
Faux retro movie posters

I really wish I had the time to invest in becoming that technically proficient, and encouraging my muse enough to become that creative.

Modern art = i could do that + yeah but you didn't.

Yeah, i feel the same way. in the end, if i really wanted to do something, i would be doing it, so since i'm not, i must prefer smoking up and cross-stitch.

When ever I get a look at this guy's work (http://www.anseladams.com/index.html) I just end up staring at them thinking how nothing I do will ever be even close to that good. It makes me want to give my camera away.

Those are amazing. And yes, I can relate to the sentiment.
