Good/bad It's a hybrid! (that's good!), but, it's an SUV (that's bad!). I wonder if the battery contains sodium benzoate.

The gas mileage on that hybrid hardly makes it worth it... I get clost to that with my little four cylender. What's the improvement?

Not being knowledgeable about gas milage, I presume it's worlds better than a normal SUV. But, based on what you've said, I think I can still safely consider this an Evil SUV. :)

Yeah a space elevator would be neat,
Does it need to be on the Equator? Does it go all the way to the Geo-synchronous spot?
I guess it works like when you spin a bucket around rather then just having a thin cable hanging from a geo-sync satelite.

Space Elevators are also pretty useful Wonders in Alpha Centauri and in Civilation Call to Power.

And yes, a space elevator needs to be on or near the equator.
