My meats decided this morning that 5:30 was a good time to wake up, a full half hour before my alarm. Silly meat. I took advantage of this extra time to clean my glasses, and make roast beef sammiches from the beast that [livejournal.com profile] neeuqdrazil rosted last night, and still left slightly later than I should.

On the commute in, the city was covered in a dense fog. I kept trying to drift off into dreamsleep. It seems that the sun is out in force now, burning off the fog.

My body is slightly upset with me; I pushed it a bit too hard on Wednesday, and I haven't had a full night's sleep all week. I'm hoping that my body will let me sleep in tomorrow, though that doesn't seem likely.

On the plus side, long weekend! And tonight, the Lizard and I are going out for dinner, and then to a movie of some kind, hopefully Hero.

In addition to Rasputina in October, there's another concert I'm kinda interested in seeing;

o Icon of Coil and The Cruxshadows at
Funhaus in Toronto. September 20

Anyone else wanna go? It's a Monday night, which sucks. This is the problem with having weird tastes in music; concerts always on week nights.

Went out with my wonderful [livejournal.com profile] neeuqdrazil tonight. We had a wonderful dinner at Grazie (sp?), then made it to the early showing of Hero.

On the topic of Hero; Wow. It is an absolutely gorgeous movie. It's not an action movie in the sense that Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was. Hero was ballet. It was opera. It was powerful. It was Art. Go see it while it's still on the big screen. It's worth the money.
