And here we thought we were so clever...

The plan was for me to go into work today for my last day before holidays, and pick up the rental car.

So, of course, the weather is terrible; when the radio came on this morning, the traffic reporter, the weather guy, and a police rep all said something to the effect of "stay home today, don't drive."

And if I didn't have to pick up the rental car, that is what I would have done.

Ah well. I am not in any hurry to get to work, since no one is likely to be there, and I intend to leave early so that I can drive in the freezing rain instead of more snow.

Of all the days for a snow day...
