weather worrying

We're going to be getting 27 degree weather (Celcius) in October. I realise that I am the only person who sees that as a bad thing.

I don't like it much myself. I miss having cool octobers. This in between weather means that I feel uncomfortable no matter what I wear. :(

I had pulled out the trenchcoats last week. I hate not being able to wear them now - I need the pockets!

I just want our fireplace fixed before it gets too cold so that I can sit in front of it with the laptop or a book.

I don't look forward to the really really cold parts of winter, but I don't mind not having to spend money to run the A/C and I don't mind snuggling up in fleece blankets and wearing big comfy sweatshirts around the house.

I hate the heat...as a Newfoundlander, I have ice crystals in my blood. I have been looking forward to autumn since *June* and this is *not* my idea of a good time either!

Every other time I've complained about unseasonably warm weather, I've been inundated with people telling me to stop being a stick in the mud and to just enjoy the beautiful weather. I worry. The Sky is falling! And Stuff!
