The tests this morning went faster than expected - I was out of the hospital by 9:30 or so, at home by 10 - not bad considering that the 2nd test wasn't scheduled until noon. I have never seen the Canadian Health Care System operate so smoothly and efficiently. This opens up my afternoon rather more than I'd dared to hope - now to see if I can get a hold of notshakespeare before he ends up on a bus after his flight gets in.

Dude, between your test experience and my insanely fast trip to the Ministry of Health and Longterm Care (10 minutes to arrive, get a number, sit down, get called to the front, present my documents, get a photo taken and thus renew my health card), I'm starting to wonder if, like, Ontario health care is becoming more efficient, or something?

Also, re: your previous post -- you have an awful lot of friends who are libras, eh?

October-November seems to be a heavy birth time for people I know - I think there are as many Novembers as there are Octobers.

I think the speedy health care may just mean that we're overdue for an attack of zombies or something.
