Well, they don't cover kilts explicitly. Sounds like you could wear the leather utilikilt, or a formal tartan kilt, but not a "cargo" utilikilt!
Do people at the office talk about your hair colour? They'd probably talk about a formal kilt just as much. Might be good or bad for your rep.
This reminds me of the insurance company where I once had the "pleasure" to work, under a somewhat more relaxed dress code. No hats were allowed, so I waited until my final day at the office to wear my gorgeous little Bucharian kippa. My colleagues assured me that the policy was just meant to prevent baseball caps, but if they're stupid enough to write the policy badly, I'll act dumb enough to follow it to the letter.
