Poop.

I just went through the events for C8, and noticed that the Masquerade sunday night is the sort you wear full-blown costumes to; I'd thought it was the sort you just wore a domino or similar to, and hence wasn't sure I wanted to bother.

Now I can't think of a costume idea...

I have precious little resources to work with. All I can think to do is either tie monkeys to myself, or tape a spooky over each nipple. Lizard says I'm not allowed to do either.

The categories they're giving prizes for are:

* Best Pagan Costume
* Best Embodiment of Good
* Best Embodiment of Evil
* Best Original Idea
* Most Colourful
* Best Cleavage/Corsetry
* Most Likely to Impale Someone
* Holy Fuck! What's That?

I could probably rig something fast up for "Most likely to impale someone", but it would probably, well, imaple someone. I have a few small sheets of steel roofing plates that I could cut into sharp things, but they'd be sharp.

Grr. It will bother me if I have no costume. What to do?

My best idea so far; dress as normally, but wear a big white circle over my face, with a smiley face drawn on it.

I don't know what exactly I'd be supposed to be.

Maybe I'll put little red horns on top of that.
