Okay, now I'm curious. A musical that you actually enjoyed, that didn't involve zombies or serial killers? Intriguing.

Well, there is an awful lot of killing. But it's state sanctioned! Also, there is mad science. And Paris Hilton's face falls off.

It was polished enough that I am hoping it will secure a wider release.

then again, I'm also tempted to try to see it again before it's run finishes Thursday.

Was that not the best casting for Paris Hilton ever?

I had such low expectations for her, but she was actually quite good. Admittedly, not much of a stretch to have her play a plastic surgery-obsessed heiress party girl, but still.

It was such a strangely deeply satisfing scene when she got on stage.

The crowd durring the film festival was a hoot too, lots of cheering and claping durring the credits.... then "Paris Hilton" splashed on screen and sudden dead silence ('cept for some muffled giggling mostly from me), the next name come on (Nivek Oger I believe) and the crowd goes wild.

High-larious.
