I don't usually do these things, but I like this one.

1. Were you raised in a particular religious faith?
Nope. My family was essentially religion free, except for Christmas carols. I got a children's bible as a kid, but I treated it like I did the books on Greek mythology I read. The Greek myths were more fun. We went to a united church for maybe a year when I was 10 or 11, but we mainly went because a friend of the family was the organist. I got baptized around then. By that time, though, I'd decided that belief in god was "unscientific", and that there was better evidence for bigfoot and aliens.
I know that my parents were part of a small religious or spiritual organization right after they got married, and with whom they went to India as part of their honeymoon. They've still got books on kundalini lying around. As far as I know, they don't touch them any more though.
2. Do you still practice that faith? Why or why not?
No. I'm still a confirmed atheist. Though as I age, I'm increasingly think that it would be nice is there were Something. I don't really believe though. I tried to make a leap of Faith, once. I missed.
Should I ever adopt a religious practice, it will likely be pagan, of my own design. I don't know if I'm really capable of Belief, though. When it comes down to it, I don't think I've ever Believed in anything. (as opposed to simply believing). I just don't take things on raw faith.
3. What do you think happens after death?
I don't think anything happens. We are meat. We rot. End of story. It would be neat if we joined some great communal group mind, or moved on to a spirit world, or even if we spent eternity fighting battles and feasting in Valhalla, but I don't think any of those actually happen. they make for good fiction, and good gaming, though.
4. What is your favorite religious ritual (participating in or just observing)?
All the religious rituals I've seen have seemed to... thin to seem right. On some level, I feel that rituals need to be more primal, more raw.
5. Do you believe people are basically good?
No, not really. People are basically benevolent and benign, but not "good". I'm not terribly happy with the labels of good and evil anyway.
