Is this Pro-war propaganda week on US tv? I've been noticing it in ads and such, but Smallville tonight seems pretty... "WAR == GOOD, DO NOT DOUBT YOUR ARMY."
The whole "Whitney's off, fighting for his country. That is the highest calling ever. " thing that seems to come up a lot.
I could just be getting the wrong impression due to the abymsmal writing this week, though. I think they've taken to hiring drunk, out of work soap opera writers.
Hey now. SOME drunken soap opera writers write stuff of SIGNIFICANTLY higher quality that that.
Also, they would've had the good sense to have Lex sneering and shoving ladies (and soon-to-be-superhero-boys) up against walls and the like. With the ripping of bodices. Instead of *almost* being angry (but mostly just being bitter and paranoid), and then simpering apologies.
