Nine Princes EnNobled

So, I finally made up my mind, and registered my game for ACN. I'm going to run "Nine Prince EnNobled", basically Amber, done with Nobilis rules. I'm hoping that people have creative character ideas.

Anyone up for a playtest sometime this summer?

I'm also hoping that SARS paranoia doesn't end up cancelling ACN... apparently the registrations are brutally low...

It seems like the AmberCon circuit started dying as soon as I started attending...

I feel the same way. It makes me wonder if I smell bad, or something.

BTW, how do you enforce your style on the comments pages???

The styled comments page is part of the new S2 styles... you can play with them over here. I went overboard and built my own layout, but then, I may very well be insane.

As for the other point... I guess, if these things keep shrinking, we may have to hold next year's ACN in our appartment.

Familiarity with Nobilis isn't required... I'm going into this assuming that my players won't have run into the game before. Like Amber, it's fairly mechanics light, and I'm tossing out the more complicated mechanics. So all the players have to do is think of creative ways to do things... I'll worry about the rules. :)

I'm still unconvinced that I should go this year after my disappointment with LAST year (other than "Dude", and that other Nobilis game where I got to play Raven).

Some people are probably just slow like me. I'm planning on going, I just haven't actually registered yet. I'm hoping that I have an assured income before I start sending money OUT. So, cross your fingers for me that I get my job, and then it'll all be set. :)
