Good Idea: Hanging out with friends until late on a Saturday night of a long weekend.
Bad Idea: Hanging out with friends until late on a Saturday night of a long weekend when you have to complete a complex task by 10 am Sunday.
I am very very tired right now. I'm glad people came over, and I had fun. If I'd remembered I had to do this stuff, I'd have kicked them out hours ago and gone to sleep. Now, though, I have to try to remember how to work this stuff because there's no way I'm going to be awake by 10 tomorrow if I fall asleep now...

I just forgot that I had to do that thing for work, and I didn't notice it was 4am until, well, 4am... :)
