We watched a couple movies this weekend.
Friday night, Lizard watched xXx while I hid in the office; once was enough for me. After that, we had planned to watch Donnie Darko, but decided that we felt more like playing video games instead.
Saturday night, we finally watched Donnie Darko. It was everything I had heard it was; creepy, spooky, and damned good. Unfortunately, the copy we had rented died four scenes before the end of the movie. So I don't know how it ends. It was very frustrating. We went over to the rental place and got a credit for our trouble. We rented Lost in Translation a our consolation prize; they only had the one DVD copy, and the VHS copy was several months over due. LiT was fairly good. Not great, not fantastic, but good.
We've got Iris (which is a Lizard movie, which I will skip), and Heavenly Creatures, both until Wednesday

Plus I got a little thing for Kate, so I'd sit through both those movies, though I do think Heavenly Creatures is extremely odd.
