Hrm. Should I try to do Mandor or Brand for the costume LARP thingy? On the one hand, Brand would be easier, since my hair's currently red. On the other hand, Mandor would be an excuse to get dressed up and buy a wig.

On another ACUS related point, how long is the drive from Toronto to Livonia, assuming one doesn't exceed the speed limit?

Ummm....I don't know if I actually know anyone who does the LARP/Costume Social. I think the majority of the people at the con tend to spend that time having dinner, especially if they're leaving the hotel to do it.

The time to drive should be between 5.5 and 7.0 hours (Yahoo maps says 5 hours 44 minutes) depending on the border crossing. If I were you I'd take the 402 to Sarnia and the Blue Water Bridge. Then go south on I-94 to I-696W to I-275S to 7 Mile Rd.!

Yeah, avoiding Windsor is a very good thing. Jenn and I went back (to Buffalo) via the Sarnia route last year, and it was a much better. Less traffic, and nicer border guards.

Ditto. Going to ACN usually takes us 5-6 hours, which includes stopping to eat somewhere along the way. I much prefer going through Sarnia.
