I was a surly lad yesterday - the nyquil didn't really wear off until about 2pm, so I was stuck in the off state until then.
I had managed to aggravate my shoulder injury while sleeping, to the point where I couldn't lift my arms fully. This did not improve my mood.
I skipped the gym, and went home to put ice on my shoulder.
The lovely
neeuqdrazil took care of me when she got home, though, and made maple-chili salmon. We finally got to see the season finale of NCIS. I had the advantage of knowing what was coming at the end.
I wonder if perhaps "RICE" (rest, ice, compression, elevation) should be amended to RICES, to include sex. I slept like a rock last night, and woke up with 60% less shoulder pain.
I'm debating whether or not to go to the gym tonight - the warmup and stretching at least would probably be good for me. On the other hand, I have some errands to do downtown before saturday night, and if I do those things tonight, and let myself heal another night, I could have a better time at the gym tomorrow.
Also, today I have learned that peppermint is a fragile flavour - if I mix anything else in with it, it gets overwhelmed. I am going to have to experiment further to get the fruity, minty herbal tea that I want.

You've had my chamomile-peppermint-fruit tea, right? The chamomile seems to smooth out the fruit, and lets the peppermint come through.
Which fruit tea did you take to work - was it the strawberry one? It's *very* strong - you really only need a very little bit.
