Perusing my schedule, I am calling the next gothclubbing July 16th. All you people who keeps saying you want to come out, check your calendars. Keep in mind, Savage does not charge a cover, so if you don't drink, the night can cost you nothing.

Quick question, never having gone before, what's the average level of gothiness in attire? How little can one get away with?

At Savage Garden (the usual gothclubbing venue) anything that is one or more of the following: black, spooky, dark, is considered aceptable. Black pants and a black shirt are entirely fine. There are usually a few people there just in t-shirt and blue jeans, but really, part of the fun is dressing up!

If we end up going with the alternate site of the Fetish Masquerade, there is more leeway if the outfit falls under "sexy" - it's not strictly a goth night, so much as a night that has a lots and lots of goths. FetMasq has a main dancing area that is no more alarming than the goth club, really - if you want to avoid the weird stuff, just stay out of the back room.

There is also the possiblity of all of us going to Savage Garden, and Liz and I going down the street for FetMasq on and off, since they're pretty close together, and FetMasq is open later.

Because I am now panicked, what is the changed date of StBs funeral bash? I know its this one or the 23rd.. but which is now the right one?

Well, der witchicist has expressed an interest in gothclubbing (we may be able to convince <lj user="journeying_dad", though he remains somewhat dubious), but I'm quite certain Fetmasq is not in her programme for that evening. Thus, if people want to flit back and forth, this may be the best plan.
