It seems to me, that this past week has been unusually hellish. For me, for ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
neeuqdrazil and for quite a few of our friends.
I wonder if it's just something simple, like the weather. It's been warm and rainy most of the week here. More overcast than its been for a while.
I feel a general erosion of patience. Like there's some kind of pressure building up somewhere, somehow.
Like something is either about to happen, or something needs to happen.
I have this odd sense of impending d00m.
Maybe I just need to watch more cartoons.
Or, maybe I need a weekend off to do what I like.
This is my third week on pager. This will be the third weekend in a row that I will be confined to quarters.
Next weekend, when I had hoped for freedom, I am being called into work. On a Saturday. With, presumably, no compensation for my time.
