It would be easier, I think to myself at times, if some things came with off switches. It's great when these things work properly at the right times. It sucks when they don't work properly. It's worse when they work properly at the wrong times.

Since I'm reading Neil Gaiman's Anansi Boys right now, I find myself trying to spin this into a story, since his writing always makes me think of Reality in terms of Stories.

Stories are good to read, but you wouldn't want to live in one - Bad Things happen to People in Stories. Sometimes they end up better off, but things have to ge tpretty rough on the way. And really, you'd never know when your Story was going to End.
