[livejournal.com profile] pipesdreams gave me the letter "C" - respond if you want a letter.

Curgoth

Me. It's a slightly silly name, with slightly silly origins. But I'm the only one I know of using it.

Capsaicin

The stuff that makes chillies hot. I love spicy food.

Cellophane

'Cuz you can look right through me. (I hate musicals)

Chainboots

The boots pictured in the icon on this post.

Competition

My parents tried to raise me to be non-competitive - for a number of years, we were only allowed to play non-competetive board games like mountaineering. They eventually gave up on that, but I still have weirdnesses about competing for things. I generally perform worse if Im competing.l

Cherries

A flavour I have little use for, whether it's the chemical version, or the real thing.

Chocolate

A fancy sugar delivery device.

Computers

How I make my money, and my main addiction.

Creation

One of my favourite things to do - make things. In computers, in the real world, in my head.

Corona of Thorns

A sun with a corona of thorns is one of my personal symbols.

LoL!!! That DOES sound dirty.

Can you make a post, or speak a sentence without being dirty though? Hmmm....

I can't imagine it!!!

Excellent use of Capsaicin! Cellophane was pretty good, too, except for the MADLY DEPRESSING CONTEXT of comparing yourself to a dude who feels invisible because his nasty wife steps all over him to get to the media and then ditches him for Catherine Zeta-Jones.

I also hate musicals due to early overexposure (thanks Mom), but sadly my brain has an uncanny knack for memorizing lyrics, so I have almost a complete text of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and several Disney film scores including Beauty and the Beast floating just beneath my conscious mind. It's terrifying.

We'll wash those blues right out of your hair with a decent dose of wine and sunshine tomorrow! Moodiness is always acceptable as part of life, but nobody can stay really bummed out for too long when there's a decent shiraz warming their belly. Huzzah!

ps - I found a hysterical photo of you while sifting through my Mom's collection of 1990s pictures, looking for images of my Dad for an Alzheimer memorial quilt. You are wearing what looks to be a stewardess uniform, complete with fake boobs and lipstick, white shirt and tie, and are reading off a piece of paper. I'm trying to remember what classes we had together other than art (maybe it was for a performance piece?) but I get this drama or language class vibe from it for some reason. I'll scan it and post it friends locked for you to see later this week, after I've finished my work on Dad's pics. :)
