Explain my LiveJournal name and its meaning.

I went digging through my LjArchive and found the following explanation:

When I was 16, a friend and I were going to make a comic book. Curgoth was the name of one of the villains, a black-skinned, fire-breathing demon with claws who hung out with the team of evil mutants. When I got tired of being "Blood Razor" (one of the heroes) on BBSes, I started using Curgoth instead, and it's stuck over the years. I keep using it because it's unique; there's not another curgoth anywhere.

Interesting, I always thought it was a conglomeration of 'cur' and 'goth.' Cur representing the dog collar and goth representing the lifestyle you sometimes seem to aspire to.

See, that's kind of why I wish I could go back and come up with a unique name that's harder to parse out into english words. The most common ones are "cur"+"goth" and "cure"+"goth" (I got the latter a lot more when I wore my hair poofed out like Robert Smith). However, inertia reigns, and by now the name curgoth has enough momentum that it'd be a lot of work to find a new unique name for myself.
