Golf shirts are not acceptable as they are deemed casual attire. For women, this means dress pants or slacks, dress skirts as well as appropriate blouses, shirts and sweaters. Clothing that is not appropriate for anyone under this category includes such items as ‘cargo’ pants, jeans of any colour, leggings, shorts, track pants, sweat shirts, sweat pants, t-shirts, tank tops, running attire, running shoes, flip-flops or other ‘sport’ footwear."
Sadly, for men, there is a very, very narrow range of acceptable. In practice, there's a fair bit of latitude for women. I've been pushing the limits with hair colour recently as it is.
