Happy Solstice to all who care about such things. It's the first day of summer and the longest day of the year. (5:36 to 21:03 in Toronto, according to the government).

Summer, for me, is Fire, and Light. Both of which are can be painful, as well as pleasant. I woke up with [livejournal.com profile] neeuqdrazil at sunrise this morning to do a little ritual to open up the day, and set some intentions for the time between now, and Winter Solstice (Ice and Shadow).

One of the important things, for me, is that I want to explore my spirituality a lot more between now and KScope. The next book in my reading queue is The Magician's Reflection, a book on creating one's own personal magical symbols. I'm aiming to do a meditation or ritual at least once a week. And, I'm resolving to actually talk about this stuff to anyone who's interested, instead of being evasive and sphinx-like.

So if you've ever wondered about me and this stuff, the next few months is a good time to ask.

That is really great! If you end up creating a filter for this, please count me in.

Happy Solstice my friend :)

Happy day of the sun:

Very cool. I second the opt in to any potential filter.

And welcome home. Did you have to bring the rain with you?

I would also like to read as I too should make the commitment to daily practice. I think I will join you. Happy Solstice! *g*
