Ugh!

Still have not made it through an entire day without hitting fever territory. The fevers are getting milder and less frequent, but still coming. I am getting very tired of the inside of my apartment.

Made it out briefly today, found some cheap silver earrings (on Bloor near Bathurst - thanks olletho!), then grabbed some unsatisfying Indian buffet and came home exhausted.

Good things;

• Having downloaded much TV to watch before getting sick


• The return of the appetite - buzzard hut on the way.


• At least this hit in a week that was already low on plans

What did the doctor specifically say? A Flu?

I've had a couple really bad flu's with fevers that have lasted 3-5 days.

The doc didn't try to diagnose the bug - he didn't seem too worried about it. There was a bit on the news tonight about Canada getting hammered with a late season flu this year, likely due to the weather. I'm guessing this is probably part of that. Thanks for the well wishes.

Oh dear. Now that both you AND Liz are sick, who's taking care of who? I'll be downtown tomorrow for my friend Ashley's birthday brunch, then staying at Chrissy's after, so let me know if you two need an emergency ration delivery of soup, orange juice, etc. I could wear some sort of protective biohazard gear and just drop it off by your door or something.

! An emergency drop of soup and OJ would be awesome! We've been making lemonade out of concentrated lemon juice and simple syrup because neither of us have been willing to go back outside for OJ.
