1. Proximity to transit.


2. At least two private spaces with enough distance between them to minimize sound between the two.


3. Space for "enough" books.


4. A washer and drier.


5. A dishwasher.

For anyone else, I'd say coming up with ten would be a stretch; top ten hobbies.

top ten hobbies i do:

1. reading
2. making things out of fabric
3. stained glass
4. embroidery
5. spinning (in the sense of making yarn from wool, not in the sense of making myself dizzy; that's more a sport than a hobby)
6. cycle touring
7. photography
8. wine touring
9. jewelry making (not something i do a lot, but enjoy when i do)
10. posting to Livejournal :)

top 10 hobbies i wish i did:

1. rally driving
2. horse-back trail riding
3. canoe tripping (used to, stopped when i left high school)
4. real camping (ties in with 2 & 3)
5. nude modeling
6. darkroom print development
7. weaving
8. water colour painting
9. irish wolfhound breeding
10. cultivating roses
