Hmm

([personal profile] curgoth Mar. 30th, 2007 09:08 am)
Edward Scissorhands stage production. I'm somewhat interested in going, if I can find company. I'm a little concerned about the "dance spectacular" part, but really, if I'm ever going to give conventional bigass stage shows a chance, I couldn't really ask for something more targetted at me.

Anyone interested in going with me? (NB: if I go, I *will* get dressed up; take that into account)

dang...I want in. How much are tickets though?

The Friday night.

Thursday I might have book club, Wednesday I have therapy, and Saturday is Bent.

Ok...both C and I are in for Thursday night. Yes no?

The idea of a musical Edward Scissorhands both intrigues and scares me, but I could be persuaded to go, especially if it's with a group of people who are all dressed up. :)

I have fond memories of a bunch of goths dressing up to the nines for the premiere of Sleepy Hollow.

My hubby might be up for it too. What price tickets were you thinking of?

I will admit some curiosity - I loved the movie. How that's going to translate to the stage, the drama geek in me is curious.

I'm looking at the mezzanine, so about $80, minus the $15 discount (so $65.) (That's right of centre mezzanine.)

Otherwise, there seem to be lots of tickets available - I've also just looked at Balcony seating, and for $55 (including discount) centre balcony seats towards the back are available.

Mezzanine works for me. I haven't been able to reach M yet to see if he'd like to go too. If he does, mezzanine would be better cause he's big and tall and finds balcony seats a pain, literally. ;)

*grin* Sounds good to me.

Shall we order all four together, so that we can sit together?

That would be lovely! I haven't been able to reach M yet, but as soon as I get a yay or a nay from him, I'll let you know.

Sounds fabulous!

And maybe we can do dinner down there, first, depending on timing and budgets? That's Good Friday, so none of us will likely (hopefully?) be working.

Just spoke to M. He'd love to attend the show and have dinner beforehand. :) Neither of us are working that day. Yay!

I wish! *whimper*

Take very detailed notes. Memorize the song. You and Zil can perform it for me, okies?

Fabulous.

I'm ordering the tickets now. The four together are $294.75, including processing and taxes.

Brilliant. Let me know how much I owe you and I can meet you beforehand to pay you or pay you when we meet for dinner or PayPal the money to you if you have a PayPal account.
