I just realised that I haven't been out dancing in months.

Then I looked at my calendar and realised that I probably won't be able to go dancing until some time in August. Maybe. More likely September. Something isn't right here.

I'd be tempted to try Dark Rave this weekend but a) all ages, no a/c in 32 C weather. Ew. b) in my current state, it would kill me.

What about the July long weekend? Are you taking the Monday off to make it a four-day weekend? Might there be dancing to be had that Sunday? (Of course, you may be totally fried by the Sunday night of Pride, so that may be a very silly question.)

Hmm. There might be dancing at Pride, somehow. I don't have the Monday off, though. Unless I can talk my boss into letting me take it as PTO for all the overtime I'm doing. Current discussion suggest that they'd rather pay me off than give me the time off though.

It's not lack of dancy things - I saw said dancy thing on FB and said "ooh, that looks like fun!" then I looked at my calendar and went "Poo, I am busy". I am just over-scheduled for the summer and forgot to leave room for dancing. :/ Imperfect!

I hear you -- if I make the Friday event, it'll be my first time dancing since New Years. :o Scheduling == attempting to bend space and time.
