Tonight was productive.

I went and did the grocery shopping for this weekend's camping trip.

I made myself dinner tonight (mergeuse sausages with carrots, onion, garlic, pepper and potato cooked in a chicken stock reduction, and salad).
I made chilli for camping, and packaged it in single serving foil containers, and put them in the freezer.
I ran a load of dishes through.
I cleaned out all the gross rotting things from the fridge and put the containers in the decontaminate setting on the dishwasher.
I got rid of some of the old questionable stuff from the freezer, too.
I split the package of bacon into two sandwich bags and put those in the freezer.
I even got the main body of the utility belt sewn, with minimal scowling.

Tomorrow night will feature a quick run to crappy tire for tarps and propane, then home to load up the car.

Wow. That's wholesome. And accomplished.

So far tonight I've, um. Put out my recycling. And green bin. And put in a couple of loads of laundry. No, I haven't managed even one of those things on my big long to-do list.

And now, to bed.

Bravo! I'll take that as inspiration - there are things I want to do before TG comes tomorrow, and I'm going to try and get them done during the day. *nods firmly*

I just wish my fridge had that setting, it would save a lot of bother in the middle.

Ahh, I drove out to that store to fix a PC back when I first started here, when I used to do that sort of thing, hehe.

Well, I'm impressed.

I had Thai food with [livejournal.com profile] captainmushroom then lay on the futon while he stepped on strategic locations on my back, trying to alleviate the effects of womynly lyfe magickā„¢. Then he read me some poetry and we were in bed just after dark fell.

Not quite as wholesome as housework and sewing, with or without scowling, but not too wildorcrazy.

Curgoth, you're welcome to raid my camping supplies. I know there are a few tarps in there -- all in very good condition. Everything's in two big bins, so easy to find. You're welcome to stop by and grab whatever you want. And if what you want ain't there, there's a crappy tire just around the corner from here.
