OK, Con of d00m is over.
The events and stuff have been pretty well covered by everyone else.
So, I just have a few things to add: alla youse that was wondering around taking pictures, scan them; I want piccy goodness!
Having a social spot after the con ends is very nice.
I like having monkey slippers to wear around the hotel; the uberboots are nice, but not good for sitting in.
When you take a bunch of tired, stressed people and try to do stuff while running around and being busier and stressed, everyone ends up more stressed, and grumpier. Unexpectedly expensive Japanese food doesn't help, either.

Of course, the main reason I was hoping to replay Charon is that, when I played him last year, I didn't own the ADRPG book, and had never read the sorcery rules. No one else had thought to bring one... So I was a bit unprepared.
Not that preperation would have saved Charon; he died mostly because he didn't yell loudly when Morgenstern stabbed Grayswandir into the ground... ripping elemental forces indeed!
