Apparently, Fridays are no longer casual days at work. I find this disagreeable.

Dress codes serve one purpose only; to reinforce the feeling that employees are faceless, valueless cogs in the corporate machine.

Speaking of being a valueless cog in a corporate machine, there is apparently a widespread rumour that walmart is planning on purchasing the large Canadian grocery chain I work for. Apparently, the wealthy owner of our company is looking for someone to buy his 61% share of the company, and Sam Walton is interested.

Were this to occur, my job would likely have a one year life span, just long enough to train the walmart employee who will replace me.

I fscking love working in a supercapitalist corporatocracy.

Gamma Ray Bursts

I hate it when astro stuff appears completely out of context. I doubt if you or your band have the slightest idea what a gamma-ray burst is or why they're perplexing the astrophysical community.

Come to think of it, I'm not sure either. But that's not the point.

Astrophysics is being culturally appropriated. (Anyone linking this to Hiada poetry gets a cookie).
