Note: L'Oreal Colour Pulse Black, is not actually black. It's just a little dark. Also, a little purple.

My hair is now a darker, stronger shade of purple.

I have two choices - run out to the 24 hour pharmacy and get industrial strength hair dye, or shave my head.

Go with purple, claim you're a new variant of colour blind?

Better yet, blame it on the horrible fluorescents! ("It's black in real light. It's not my fault you installed 'cost-effective' colour-shifted lights.")

The person who was apparently rumbling about dresscode violations earlier today would, in fact, be the person who was in charge of the lights for the new building...

Sadly, the one person who kept reassuring me that my hair wasn't too bad was, in fact, red-green colour blind, and thus my hair looked kinda brown-grey to him.
