Q: Does jealousy ever play into your poly relationship? And if so, what have you done to jump those hurtles and keep your relationship functioning?

A: I'm lucky to have a pretty weak jealousy reflex. I've only felt what other people describe as jealousy a few times, and each time, it's ended up being a sign that I had an unmet need that I needed to communicate. On my end, it's generally been something that I can "fix" by figuring out what's *really* bothering me. The down side of this is that I have a hard time understanding other people's jealousy, since my head doesn't really work that way. My knee jerk reaction to other peoples' jealousy is impatience - if *I* can work around it that easily... This is something that I've had trouble with.

Q: Scenario: Doomsday.

You have a spaceship and enough room for you and your nearest and dearest. There are five positions that still must be filled(anyone in the world):

Who is your navigator?

Who is your chef?

Who is your engineer?

Who do you keep around for the express purpose of destroying enemy aliens?

What is the other vital position, and who fills it?

A:
Navigator: Some NASA stellar cartographer whose name I don't currently know
Chef: Alton Brown - I've seen what the man can do with a microwave.
Engineer: Whoever the heck built the ship in the first place.
Alien destroyer: Miles Vorkosigan
Other vital position: a telepath - nothing better for making First Contact.

Plus he is the Host of Iron Chef, which I really enjoy, I think the American Iron Chefs have only lost a couple of times. Once to the Canadian Chef Ray Fienne
