A bottle of Beaujolais nouveau and half a bottle of fat cat Chardonnay, and I feel better. I also now have a very big pot of both mushroom risotto (vegetarian) and cous cous with fruit and niuts (vegan) for the two pot lucks cooling on the balcony. Both were made extra moist to survive reheating. I need to write out my ingredient list cards. Also - so much for getting extra work done.

I can expect to be woken up at 3am this morning, by the pager. I'd ignore it, but I'm saving karma for Saturday (which I initially wrote as Saturnday, appropriately enough)

Honestly, I suspect that I'm going to have a lot of cous cous and mushroom risotto left over, so I probably could give you the gift of starch for your birthday!
