what do you find attractive? Is is the way someone looks, the way they talk - or is it just a gut reaction?

I have something of an equality fetish. I go for people who I percieve as being at leats as "X" as I am - where "X" is smart, strong, tough, badass, etc. This tends to apply more with women than men, but it's present on both sides. Thus, I have a weakness for smart women, tall women, warrior women, spooky women, etc. - I tend to find women who I feel are "on my level, or above" more attractive.

Also, I have a weakness for redheads.

What kind of music do you listen to?

* Industrial, Goth, EBM, Darkwave, etc. with a light sprinkling of Traceish stuff. I have some more metal stuff that are remnants of my high school shift from metal to goth. Plus, Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Diamanda Galas and other "goth-friendly" artists.

* Mostly scifi/fantasy. In 2005 I started forcing myself to read one "serious" book (frequently, but not always, non-fiction). The non-fiction has ended up including a fair bit of cultural studies type stuff.

* Love, monkeys, creation, endorphins, in certain circumstances, time with people.

* When my blood sugar is low, everything! In general, though - abuses of power, corporate culture, sexism, insistance on perpetuation of monoculture . Also, people who snort loudly instead of getting a tissue.

If you had the chance would you kick the doctor in the ass really hard that said you were allergic to glutten?

I do, in fact, enjoy things with gluten. I don't think I'd bother to asskick the crazy doc who had me go gluten free - I knew he was a wacky doctor, and went out of my way to see him specifically, so ultimately, I have to accept that my decisions played a part in that.
