I've been having a fantastic day. And I have every reason to believe its going to get better.

I hit the Sante wine festival today with pipesdreams and a small horde of other wonderful people - $15 gets you 4 hours of wandering through expensive stores, drinking expensive wine and getting expensive chocolate, cheese and bread. The walking and timing worked out such that I should be fully sober by the time we get to the CrazySteve not_matt party.

So, that's one party down, three ( I think? ) to go!

I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed yourself - I always get a little anxious when bringing friends from different walks of life together for the first time; sometimes it rocks, and sometimes it's just a little weird. This was a good group, though, since everyone was there to have a good time and a nice afternoon. :)

Yay! Also glad to hear you didn't have a brutal late-afternoon hangover necessitating a serious nap and some Advil, as I did. Probably should have eaten breakfast before starting with the wine. Oops.
