I made it safely home last night. There was a worrying incident with the Calgary airport's booking system going down, but once I got on the plane, thoungs went smoothly. The flight wasn't full, so I got moved to a row of three seats all by myself, with a power plug for my laptop. I finished the book I started in the flight to Calgary, then got in a solid hour of Civ3 before landing.

Then I got to see my Lizard, which was the best part.

See, it's funny - I don't mind flying. I'm fine when I get on the plane. But airports freak me out - tired grumpy bureaucrats! Some of them armed! Makes me twitchy.

For me its the waiting, I can't be late and I can't stand the takeoffs and landing, but I'm good flying
