Here at work, we have coffee machines that dispense mixtures of various brown beverages. Among these brown options is hot chocolate, of which I occasionally partake. I am beginning to suspect, though, that sometimes the machine doesn't clean out the previously prepared beverage properly. Because, I am starting to think that hot chooclate I had earlier today has caffeine in it. I certainly had a jolt of energy when I drank it, but at the time I just thought I was noticing the sugar more than usual. My anxiety levels have been through the roof since then, however, and I'm typing faster than I usually can, which suggests to me, along with the splitting headache, that I've inadvertently consumed caffeine.
Not that I don't have plenty of things to get stressed about on my own, but I was feeling fine this morning...

But yes, I suspect that the nozzles on the machine are dirty and you got more than you should have. Doesn't say much about the machine, does it? Ew!
It's too bad it does you so awful. One of my favorite winter drinks is chocolate with a hit of coffee.

Hope you feel better soon.
How long does it usually take to work out of your system?
