No boots for me. Both of the places I tried looked at me like I was insane - they don't make equestrian riders in my size, and therefore they don't make gear (like the dressage boots I wanted) in my size either. Or something like that.

On the plus side, I finally returned empties top the beer store, for the first time since they started taking non-beer bottles. No one in the store was there to buy beer - only drop off empties. I came away with almost $10, and the guy behind me at at least twice as many bottles as I did. Weird.

Right. I expected a higher price (though not necessarily that much more), but the "they don't make them in your size" had me go "no freaking way" (as I have a girlfriend who has feet in a similar frame and if they make women's boots that large, they make men's.

Sadness!

And, again, I have to tell you how much I love your tags.

They do - I know quite a few male riders and your feet are not particularily large!!!

I will be happy to help when I come back - should be no problem!

WTF? I've seen mounted police who are bigger than you.

Do call Nick's Shoe Repair on Dupont, it'll be worth that much at least.

"They don't make" is definitely code for "we are lame and have no stock", because yeah, like others above, I've clearly SEEN men your size and much bigger in riding boots. I mean, please. Sucks that you couldn't find them easily/cheaply, though!
