In other news, apparently my emergency inhaler has expired since I last used it.

Hopefully, benedryl will do the trick. I gotta get that inhaler replaced...

And also weird. You've just suddenly become allergic to your bed? Have you changed anything on it recently? (Pillow cases, blankets, laundry detergent?)

You could have a build-up of dust mites in the soft bits, I suppose. The way to deal with that is put the pillows in the dryer on high for a couple of hours, and wash everything else. As long as you don't have dust mites in the mattress itself, you'll be okay then.

We figured out the source - one of our comforters apparently had something grow in it over the summer. I could handle being in bed once we took it off - we'll try washing it and seeing if that fixes the problem. The benadryl is just wearing off now, and my body's slowing trying to purge the crap out of my lungs.
