Just had me a nice little wave of vertigo. As in, with no warning, the room went spinny and I felt like I had to hold on to the desk. Only lasted about 5 seconds, but, um, that's fricking weird.

I know it's probably not reassuring, but that happens to me all the time...

Just a captain obvious question... When was the last time you ate? Do you need a snack or a beverage? I get low blood sugar with no warning on account of being a coffee addict, so the spontaneous hunger vertigo without actual hunger symptoms is familiar to me...

How much medication are you taking? a side effect of medication and illness can be sudden vertigo if you move too quickly or twist too quickly.

Not fun, but nothing to actually worry about unless you find yourself on the floor unable to move for the room spinning (and no alcohol was involved :P)

That happens to me when I do too. Apparently it's not uncommon. I forget the mechanics of it, to be honest, but I remember it making sense... haha

This has happened to me randomly and without warning at work as well. I have no idea what the cause was but it stopped just as mysteriously as it started.
