Fever

We at Beta Colony have a fever. Things we have discovered that are not effective prescriptions for our fever:

• More cowbell


• In fact, any amount of cowbell


• Battlestar Galactica


• Going to work


• Chocolate


• Neal Stephenson


• Batman


• Doing laundry

Am currently working on poultry noodle soup. I'm not sure what went into the stock, but it was definitely all bird. Managed to identify the ham bone before throwing it in the pot. Gotta save that for pea soup, when I'm healthy enough to be able to taste it.

Neither Saturday's chicken soup nor last night's beef stew with dumplings seems to have slowed the fever down much, unfortunately.

Sadly no. I plan to see if an Elder Sigil helps or if it just makes the Shoggoths worse.
