I wish I knew why I seem so scary after kung fu class.

It's starting to weird me out a bit.

case 1: Everyone who rides the TTC at night has had the experience of sharing a car with a beligerent drunk/drinking guy. When this happened to me after kung fu class, the drunk guy with the mickey of vodka in his hand looked at me, got a worried look on his facem, and went to the other end of the car muttering something about "fucking birdman"

case 2: There was a woman Zil and I met briefly at c8, whose name I never caught. I saw her on the bus tonight, and we both did the "I think I know you from someowhere, but I'm not going to say anything because I don't remember where" look. There were no empty seats, so, if she was "a", and some other guy was "B", the seats were laid out B__A, so I sat B_|_A, sort of in the middle of two seats. In any case, she looked at me again, then got up and went to the other side of the bus.

I dunno why I am so scary after kung fu. I don't like to frighten people by accident.

Boo?

Do you spar in kung fu?

I find (from fencing) that competitive + combative + exercise generally produces an overly-intense (and, perhaps, scary) looking Kalivor. Does this to a lot of other fencers I know too.

It could be that you're still in sparring kung fu mode on the trip home.

Well, having watched Curgoth go into his "combat-mode", I can tell you he does get an intense look (posture?)

Anyway, think about it this way. You're a fairly large guy, and public transit doesn't bring out anybody's warm fuzzy side.

The last empty seat on any given bus is usually next to me. Even without the trenchcoat. And I'm a skinny guy. I don't like how old ladies are nervous around me, either. But it certainly helps keeping the ah... unsavory elements at their distance.
