Last night, I dreamt that I was having trouble sleeping/dreaming. I was getting ready for sleep, and the operator was shoving long, slender needles into the base of my skull, along my spine, and into various points on my head. This was, in the dream, somewhat unsettling, but not nearly as terrifying as it should have been. I guess it explains why, in the dream, I didn't want to go back to sleep, though. And perhaps why I woke up in the middle of the night, and hence recall the dream.

Unpleasant. (((hugs)))

Oddly, I spent most of the night, wandering between Toronto and Sudbury (which appeared to be one city) looking for a Hannukah pageant. In the snow, in my socked feet.

I was in New York, Florida (my subconscious has a hazy view of geography), in a hotel with my cats. Only it turned out that the hotel was more of a hostel (what did I expect from inexpensive accommodations in New York?), and the other people booked into the room had a cat who was larger than Marinetti, and more territorial. So Luna ran away and hid, and Marinetti nonchalently tried to ignore the other cat, who kept stalking him and pouncing on him. Then I had to try to find Luna, while keeping either large cat from getting out of the room, and pack both of my cats in a duffle bag for the trip home.

Then there was a stop at a play/cabaret where a rather attractive person with long striped hair did some rather naughty but pleasant things to me, until my mother showed up to remind me that I'd missed my flight home. So I had to figure out how to get home from New York with two cats on the train or bus.

Why does it sound like you were having a Matrix dream (operator, long slender needles to the base of the skull)
